What data do we collect and process?

How we collect your personal data

We collect your personal data when you purchase a subscription, a service and/or open a user account or in any other way provide us with your personal data. We also collect your personal data based on your web activity, course activity, email activity within our domains, including how you use the Site and services and from third party sources such as Mixpanel, Google analytics, Stripe, Sendinblue, Sendgrid, Demio and wordpress plugins.

Data that we process

The categories of personal data we process are the following:       

  1. Full name and contact details such as your email address, telephone number, location, professional title, and information regarding the company you represent, and the subscriptions and services you have ordered, date of account creation and purchase informations;

  2. Account details, including username/user ID;

  3. Browser information, e.g. type and version of browser, any website or URL from which you have been referred, which time zone and region you visit us from; pages you visit on our website and domain; your IP-address and a rough location estimate based on your IP-address; information about your web activity or your interaction in emails we send you; information on your usage of our subscriptions and services.

Why and how we use your data

Provide our services

We process your personal data in order to provide you with our services and to communicate with you when administering your account, your purchases, processing your contact information in connection with you accessing our services, invoicing, and providing support, training, professional services and general information regarding our services to you. Our processing for the purpose of providing our services is based on our legitimate interest to do so or on your prior consent.

Improve our services

We process your personal data to improve our services and make them easier and better to use, including but not limited to testing and troubleshooting, fixing bugs. We will produce statistics on and analyze how you use our services and perform market research and customer satisfaction surveys and get your feedback. For these purposes, we also use your personal data based on your web activity and activity associated with emails we send to you, including how you use our website and services, your interests, professional title and company and similarities with other users’ interests and user patterns. If you have created an account for our services, we process your personal data to handle IT-security incidents and matters for the purpose of generally improving the security of our IT systems, by creating and keeping, for a period of 12 months from its creation, a log file on how you use our website and services. Our processing for the purpose of improving our services is based on our legitimate interest to do so.

Marketing

Our processing for the purpose of direct marketing is based on our legitimate interest to promote our services or on your prior consent.

When we use service providers, we will enter into a data processing agreement with the service provider which requires it to ensure that your personal data is only processed in accordance with our instructions and this Privacy Policy. Processing and sharing of your personal data in accordance with the above is necessary for our legitimate interest to provide our services or to fulfill any contract we have entered into with you or your company or to comply with mandatory laws.

Right to object
